my name is nico aka n o n c o n f o r m i t y

Born in the island of Trinidad and raised in Brooklyn, NY, diversity & dynamism has always been at the core of my expression. I also enjoy toying with opposites and bringing them together, my extensive background in both tech and art being a great example.

Writing stories and poetry was my first love. Digital pen pal groups eventually turned into lyrical battles, while MSPaint inspired my introduction to graphics. Suddenly I found myself rapping, singing and producing music, while dragging my paintbrush from the computer, to the canvas, to clothes and back to the computer. The concept of limits do not exist in my art practice, and my favorite projects are those that continuously affirm this.
